We already do all those sorts of jobs in our house and well as composting! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737854747949777787.post-59395734327656064952011-02-20T01:52:37.549-05:002011-02-20T01:52:37.549-05:00I think that reducing, reusing and recycling is im...I think that reducing, reusing and recycling is important to everyone.
So why don't people try and at least just do ONE of them? I do not have a right to go order people around, neither do I have the time. But I just want the best.
If we all do some reducing, reusing and recycling I think we can achieve so much more.
At primary school, I used to have a strict rule: 'Whatever you can recycle, put in in one of the recycling bins around the school'. I did exactly that, and I still recycle things. REMEMBER: the 3R's!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737854747949777787.post-68857590157313463842010-03-15T21:55:46.176-04:002010-03-15T21:55:46.176-04:00Hello, I'm Nicole from ecofreek.com- a search

Its the easy to do, feel good factor! To reduce and reuse, are often more difficult and INCONVENIENT!

Let's support our children in facing the challenge of the 1st 2 R's.

(don't get me wrong, I am an active recycler)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3737854747949777787.post-58823230775139819532009-07-02T13:19:19.203-04:002009-07-02T13:19:19.203-04:00I am a teacher that works for a recycling company ...I am a teacher that works for a recycling company in New Jersey. When my son was 2 yrs old (3 now) he received the job of recycling in our house, we have a small beach toy basket near the garbage can and we put the recyclable things in it. Then Trent sorts it and puts it in the proper bins! We also have a box in the art room for things we can reuse and do fun projects with! My 7 yr old daughter takes pride in being the "green police" of the house, she turns off lights and fines us for not doing the proper things for the environment! It's fun and productive!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
